The flame retardant principle of aluminum hydroxide is that the products of endothermic decomposition into aluminum oxide and water are completely non-toxic and non-corrosive substances. The endothermic reaction absorbs a large amount of heat during the combustion process of the polymer, thereby protecting the polymer from rapid decomposition and delaying the formation of flammable by-products. The generated water vapor replaces oxygen, plays a similar role as inert gas, and also delays the combustion of the polymer; at the same time, a protective layer composed of alumina and carbonized products can be formed on the surface of the polymer to further inhibit combustion and reduce smoke density by adsorbing soot particles.
Aluminum hydroxide flame retardant should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place to prevent moisture on the ground and avoid close to high temperature heat sources. Transportation: This product is a non-hazardous product. It should be waterproof and moisture-proof during transportation. It should be loaded and unloaded lightly to prevent damage to the packaging. Do not mix with other acidic and alkaline substances. When the relative humidity of the environment exceeds 80%, avoid exposure to air, and use it after baking (110 ℃) if necessary. Sealing and moisture-proof measures should be taken after use. It is recommended to use the package after unpacking.
